Save the Island

Our RESCUE adventure takes place on the island of Themar. The island of Themar is made up of 50 fields. The fields are joined together by pathways.

The story so far:

The Island of Themar has been hit by a severe tropical storm. There is a disaster recovery team on the island. You need to find them and lead them to the

town. Also you need to round up the animals and find some food, clean water, medical supplies, blankets and clothing. The people depend upon you.

When you play our adventure you are on the island of Themar. You start in the beech. To finish your task you must find disaster recovery team and animals and food, water & medicine and blankets and clothing and then make your way to the lighthouse.

During the adventure you can use the following equipment:

vial of oil - which will be found while in the cave
spade - which will be found while in the cave
axe - which will be found while in the cave
food & tea box - which will be found while in the food store
donkey - which will be found while in the animal store
radio - which will be found while in the shop
satellite phone - which will be found while in the shop
lamp - which will be found while in the lookout
water container - which will be found while in the lighthouse
boat - which will be found while on the beech
coconut - which will be found while in the palm trees
wild garlic - which will be found while on the cliff path

To recover food, water & medicine you must be carrying the spade or radio or satellite phone or lamp.
To recover blankets and clothing you must be carrying the spade or radio or satellite phone or lampradio or satellite phone.

There are 5 problems:

Too much heat can be dealt with permanently using the food & tea box or boat or temporarily using the spade or water container. This problem will only occur while on the beech.
Desperate people can be dealt with permanently using the radio or satellite phone or axe or temporarily using the vial of oil or spade or donkey. This problem will only occur while in the town.
Palm trees can be dealt with permanently using the axe or temporarily using the donkey. This problem will only occur while in the palm trees.
A boulder can be dealt with permanently using the vial of oil or axe or boat or temporarily using the donkey, and can be detected using the donkey. This problem will only occur while on the mountain side.
Darkness can be dealt with temporarily using the vial of oil or lamp, and can be detected using the donkey. This problem will only occur while in the pitch black passage.

There are 5 traps:

If you try to trap the sea you must wait here until someone brings the spade. This will only happen while on the beech.
If you have a hallucination you must wait here until someone brings the food & tea box or donkey or water container.
If you stop to help people you must wait here until someone brings the vial of oil or spade or food & tea box or radio or satellite phone or water container or boat. This trap can be detected using the radio.
If you get a hunger attack you must wait here until someone brings the food & tea box or water container. This will only happen while near the crystal clear streem.
If it is too dark to see you must wait here until someone brings the vial of oil or lamp. This trap can be detected using the donkey, it will only happen while in the darker cave.

There are 4 secret passages and 2 pathways:

There is a pathway from the beech to the palm trees.
There is a pathway from the cliff walk to the cliff path.
There is an secret passage from the cave to the corner. This secret passage can be detected using the lamp.
There is an secret passage from the beech to the beech. This secret passage can be detected using the spade.
There is an secret passage from the out jutting rock to the lighthouse. This secret passage can be detected using the boat.
There is an secret passage from the waterfall to the sea. This secret passage can be detected using the water container.
