Our RESCUE adventure takes place in Dragon Mountain. Dragon Mountain is made up of 50 caverns. The caverns are joined together by caves.
The story so far:
In search of fame and fortune you have discovered rumours of enchanted gold in a mountain guarded by dragons. You can get into the dragon’s den through the dwarves salt mines and three of you party have gone ahead. You haven’t heard from them so you need to find the gold and rescue your companions.
When you play our adventure you are in Dragon Mountain. You start in the salt mines. To finish your task you must find enchanted gold and Zarkon the wizard and Glavin the thinker and Ishihara the healer and then make your way to the tavern.
During the adventure you can use the following equipment:
potion - which will be found while in the dim cavern
vorpal sword - which will be found while in the royal treasures
talisman - which will be found while in the royal treasures
ring of invisibility - which will be found while in the royal treasures
sceptre of power - which will be found while in the royal treasures
thieves tools
town portal - which will be found while in the enchanted cavern
candles
water skin
finding stone - which will be somewhere in Dragon Mountain
rope
dragon bait - which will be somewhere in Dragon Mountain
scroll - which will be found while in the inscribed corner
broad sword
battle axe
staff
There are 11 problems:
Goblins can be dealt with permanently using the vorpal sword or temporarily using the potion or broad sword or battle axe or staff.
A skeleton can be dealt with permanently using the talisman or temporarily using the potion or broad sword or battle axe or staff.
An ooze can be dealt with permanently using the sceptre of power or temporarily using the potion or broad sword or battle axe or staff.
A baby dragon can be dealt with temporarily using the ring of invisibility or dragon bait, and can be detected using the finding stone. This problem will only occur while in the dragon nursery.
Bars can be dealt with permanently using the thieves tools. This problem will only occur while near the safety bars.
The master dragon can be dealt with temporarily using the ring of invisibility or dragon bait, and can be detected using the finding stone. This problem will only occur while on the master dragon's balcony.
A dragon can be dealt with temporarily using the ring of invisibility or dragon bait, and can be detected using the finding stone.
Restless spirits can be dealt with temporarily using the scroll. This problem will only occur while in the forgotton crypt.
A fire can be dealt with permanently using the water skin. This problem will only occur while in the giant cavern.
A dragon can be dealt with temporarily using the ring of invisibility or dragon bait, and can be detected using the finding stone.
Magic mist can be dealt with permanently using the potion or temporarily using the water skin or scroll.
There are 3 traps:
If you are lost in darkness you must wait here until someone brings the candles. This will only happen while in the dim cavern.
If you are surrounded by monsters you must wait here until someone brings the dragon bait. This trap can be detected using the finding stone.
If you are cornered by a dragon you must wait here until someone brings the ring of invisibility. This trap can be detected using the finding stone.
There are 4 secret passages and 2 undergound passage:
There is a undergound passage from the safety bars to the concealed gallery.
There is a undergound passage from the underground river to the flooded chamber.
There is an secret passage from the cave to the spiral steps. This secret passage can be detected using the rope.
There is an secret passage from the enchanted cavern to the tavern. This secret passage can be detected using the town portal.
There is an secret passage from the forest to the forgotton crypt. This secret passage can be detected using the finding stone.
There is an secret passage from the safety bars to the coins. This secret passage can be detected using the rope.
